When a loved one needs considerable home care that the family is unable to provide, such as hygiene, housekeeping, cooking, shopping or even walking steadily without assistance.

Who is eligible for home health services?

You need to meet the following requirements to be eligible for home health care:

  • A physician must prescribe home health services
  • A skilled nursing care service as needed or therapy (physical, occupational, speech) services
  • A person must be homebound

How often will home health care givers visit and how long do the services last?

The frequency and longevity of home health care services depend on various factors. Your physicians recommendations and our health care assessment of your home care needs will determine how often a care giver will visit and for how long. Response to treatment from our therapists is a good indicator of progress.

Who pays for Home Health Care services?

Although most patients opt to cover home care expenses privately, City of Angels Best Care is Medicare and Medicaid certified and we accept most private insurances. Please contact us if you’re not sure your insurance policy covers home health care services.
